Exchange Eligibility
- Tickets purchased through Broadway Direct or at the theatre box office may be exchanged up to 48 hours before the originally scheduled performance.
- A $10 exchange fee per ticket applies.*
- Exchanges must be completed through the original point of purchase.
How to Exchange Your Tickets
If you purchased your tickets through BroadwayDirect.com and your performance is more than 48 hours away:
- Log in to your Broadway Direct account.
- Select the Tickets tab.
- Locate your order and open the Actions dropdown menu.
- Select Exchange Tickets.
- Follow the prompts to choose a new performance and complete your exchange.
If your tickets were purchased at the theatre box office or through another authorized seller, please contact your original point of purchase directly for exchange assistance.
*This policy is valid solely for performances of THE LION KING in New York City. Exchanges may be made for $10 per ticket being exchanged. Exchanges may be made for different performances of originally purchased production. Exchanges must be requested at least 48 hours prior to start of original performance. Tickets may be exchanged for any other single performance on sale at time of exchange, subject to blockout dates and other restrictions. Exchanges will be made through original point of purchase. For group sales, exchanges can only be made through the original Agent. Tickets purchased via 3rd party providers are subject to their exchange policies. Exchanges are made at original face value of the ticket purchased. Additional payments apply if choosing a performance or section that costs more than the original or if exchanges are from an originally-discounted ticket into a performance with no discounted tickets available. Guests may receive partial refunds if the face value of the original ticket is higher than the face value of the new ticket. New special offers may not be applied to exchanged tickets. Complimentary tickets and resold tickets are not eligible for exchange. Refunds are not available.
